Woo!! Made it across!!

At the park Thursday I made it ALL THE WAY ACROSS the monkey bars!! For the first time ever, with no help.

Anna and Grandma Mary

Hobbling Gramps

Gramps couldn't go very fast when Meg and I rode on his feet.

Anna Kate's Baby

Anna Kate got a baby doll for Christmas. She doesn't really like it, yet.
But sometimes she thinks it's okay.

Anna Kate and Daddy

While Grandma Mary and Grandpa Bruce were here, we went to the zoo in San Antonio! It was great. We all liked it a lot and saw heaps of neat animals.

Here we are outside the zoo. Mama and Daddy went, too, but they're not in the picture.

We rode around in a stroller, which Mama said was *totally* worth the $10.

Knitting with Grandma

This picture is Grandma Mary and me working with the Nifty Knitter. I made a baby hat.

We made these! Except for Mama put our names on them.

Turkey! And Ham! And Ribs! And Pie! And Sweet Potatoes! And... And...

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Mimi and Pa's house, and this is the crew, minus Wilma the Cat. She lives there, but didn't appear to be pictured. So this is Mimi and Pa, and Mama and Daddy and me and Meggy and Anna and Tio Luke and Sarah and Mister the Dog. We had loads of fun and ate lots of great food.

Also, here's an old Thanksgiving picture. We were littler then.

Sweet Pictures

A couple of weeks ago our friend Hollie Rouse took our pictures! We were sort of cold and crabby, but she made us look nice and cheerful and good, didn't she? Hollie Rouse is wonderful, and these are just a few of our most favorite of her pictures.

Workin'.

Here are the three of us, working on stuff...

Anna did a lot of work on this paper.

Dr. Seuss Dress

Here's Meggy's Dr. Seuss dress! It's a hoot, and Mama made it.

Anna Kate

Here's Anna Kate eating rocks at the park.

And here's Anna Kate playing at the playground before I get out of school.

Happy Halloween!

A Skeleton

Anna Kate was the cutest skeleton in the world. But not for long... she got tired and then scared, so she went home early from Trick-or-Treats.

Anna has 15 months!

Anna Kate has 15 months!

She went to the doc the other day for a well-check, and it turns out she is in fact well. Just perfect, actually. Anna weighs in at 22.5 pounds, which is just shy of the 50th percentile. And her height is absolutely average at 30 inches. Anna's head is enormous, way up above the 95th percentile. And in cuteness, she received top scores.

Meg

Not bad, huh?

Bat Cruise

Daddy and Meg and I went on a Bat Cruise! My whole kindergarten class went, and it was great.

A million billion bats live under this bridge. When it gets dark, they all wake up and fly out to eat tons and tons of mosquitoes. We got to see them fly out!

Here's me and Meg on the boat.

And this is me.

Hi-larious!

Grace: "Mama! I figured out how to spell two words -- want to hear them??"

Mama: "Sure, Grace... lay 'em on me."

Grace: "Okay, ready? They both start with P. The first one is p - o - o - p. And the other one is p - e - e !"

Saddle Up!

It's gotten to be bike-riding weather! So we're riding bikes! First we did some bike fix-it, putting air in our tires and stuff, but then we were ready to go...

Anna's still too little for a bike, but she really wanted to wear this "hat".
