First Day of School

Bunk Beds!

Daddy made us some super bunk beds! He started with this:

And then he worked and worked and worked and turned that into this:






Isn't that great!? Meggy sleeps upstairs on the left, I sleep upstairs on the right, and Anna Kate sleeps downstairs beneath me.














Under Meg's bunk is a cozy reading spot with a curtain and some lights underneath. Sweet.

Just the Facts, Ma'am

Anna Kate had her well-child doc visit yesterday. She's well.

• She's 34 1/2" tall, which lands in the 75th percentile for her age.

• She plus Ella the Elephant weigh 28 pounds, also in the 75th percentile.

• And Anna Kate's head is still bigger than the other heads on the growth chart.

Anna's doc said she doesn't have to come in for the 2.5 year check-up because she's already met all the developmental stuff they look at for that visit. Anna was glad to hear that, because she really doesn't enjoy the doctor's office.

While we were in Wisconsin, we had a picnic with our Gram and our cousins, Jacob and Josh. Meggy and I made the PB&Js.

Lost a Tooth!

I had a wiggly tooth, and now it's out! See where it was? It feels funny.

the tooth fairy will trade me for something!
